596 vehicles impounded; 1,893 licenses confiscated for ECQ violations

ANGELES CITY – Some 596 public and private vehicles were impounded while 1,893 driver’s licenses were confiscated for violations of the Enhanced Community Quarantine protocols on traffic.

In a report submitted by the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO) to Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., most of the violations recorded were overloading, no wearing of helmet, and lack of driver’s license.

The impounded vehicles and confiscated licenses will be released once the ECQ is lifted, said Lazatin.
