Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. released Memorandum No. 493, Series 2020 which adopts a four-day work week schedule for the Angeles City Government starting March 16, 2020 until further notice.
“Thus, the ANGELES CITY GOVERNMENT OFFICES' WORK SCHEDULE is reduced to four days (Monday - Thursday) but the number of working hours per day is set to ten hours. The total number of required working hours per week shall not be less than forty hours, exclusive of meal time.
Offices involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness and response to disasters and calamities, and the performance of other vital services shall be excluded from the four-day work week schedule.
