Camp Olivas,City of San Fernando,Pampanga --- Four (4) still unidentified persons allegedly involved in carnapping activities died during shootout with police authorities, earlier this morning (November 3) in Plaridel Bulacan.
Based on reports, Michael Reyes appeared at Plaridel Municipal Police Station and reported that his driven vehicle Toyota Vios bearing plate number AHA 2068 was forciblly taken by two (2) unidentified armed men and fled heading towards bypass road. Upon receipt of said report, a flash alarm was sent and a hot pursuit was conducted by police operatives of Plaridel MPS and Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Brach against the suspects.
Authorities were able to intercept the suspects along Brgy Bagong Silang of said town and when they flagged down said vehicle, armed suspects sped off and fired towards the operating team prompting them to return fire which resulted to the instantaenous deaths of the suspects who have yet to be identified.
Recovered from the crime scene were the following: one (1) cal 45 pistol, one (1) Uzi sub machine gun, two (2) cal 38 revolvers and the carnapped vehicle, one (1) Toyota Vios bearing plate number AHA 2068.
"We continue to intensify our anti-criminality measures as we are relentless to give our communities a safer place to live, work and do business," PR03 Officer-In-Charge PBGEN LEONARDO M CESNEROS said.
