CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA -- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA said that joint elements of Meycauayan City Police, PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Branch and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have neutralized a big-time illegal drugs syndicate this morning in succeeding buy-bust operations that yielded more than 10 kilograms of shabu with street value of more or less Php70 Million and resulted in the arrest of eight suspects, most of them included in the government's watch list for High Value Target in the war against illegal drugs.
The top cop of Region 3 identified the suspects as:Sandy Domingo, 41, of Barangay Pantoc, Meycauayan City; Nida Barrientos, 54, of Tondo, Manila; Rhodora Jose, 43, also from Tondo, Manila; Christian Villaflores, 39, of Meycauayan City, Bulacan; Milky Joy Principe, 33, of Marilao, Bulacan; Kevin Limbo, 27, of Valenzuela City; Bernard Flores, 46, also from Valenzuela City; and Clifford Bello, 35, of San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.
He added that the syndicate has open access to warehouses operated by a group with direct connections to the main source of illegal drugs from Mainland China and are responsible for the bulk distribution of illegal drugs in Central Luzon, Metro Manila and some parts of Southern Tagalog areas. PBGEN SERMONIA also said that this recent gains in the neutralization of big-time illegal drugs syndicate is part of the cohesive campaign of the PNP in Central Luzon in compliance with the directive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to seize every opportunity to be on the offensive against illegal drugs operators, which PNP Chief, Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa reiterated to all police commanders.
The PNP Chief lauded the operating troopsź for this landmark accomplishment in the fight against illegal drugs and issued directive to all police commanders in Central Luzon to keep up the aggressive drive until all illegal drugs suspects, local and foreign, who are listed as High Value Targets are all arrested and charged in court. All suspects will be charged with Violation of Sections 5, 11, 26, Article ll, of Republic Act 9165 or the Anti-Illegal Drugs Law. "Your police here in Central Luzon will have no let-up on our crackdown on all forms of lawlessness amidst this pandemic and we will continue to deliver our relentless outstanding service to the communities of Region 3," PBGEN SERMONIA added.
