Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – With the continuous implementation of PRO3’s Enhanced Managing Police Operations, a remarkable decrease of 4.45% in crime incidents here in Region 3 for the 2nd Quarter (April to June) of this year has been noted.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL revealed that recorded crimes from April to June 2019 (2nd Quarter) was 11,156 incidents or 4.45% lower compared to the recorded crimes from January to March 2019 (1st Quarter) which was 11,676 incidents or 520 recorded cases especially on the eight focused crimes namely: Murder, Homicide, Robbery, Theft, Physical Injury, Carnapping (Motorcycle), Carnapping (Motor Vehicle) and Rape.
“The significant decrease in crimes in the 2nd Quarter of this year can be attributed to the intensification of our anti-criminality measures and our resumed anti-drug efforts. The regular conduct of Simulation Exercises, Crisis Emergency Response Exercises and Communication Exercises are being done to test the operational readiness of our personnel on the ground so as to promptly respond to any eventualities in our communities,” PBGEN CORONEL also said.
“Once again, I would like to appeal to the public to continuously support our fight against all forms of criminality in the Region in order for us to keep on maintaining our neighborhoods safe and secure,” he further stated.
