Material Recovery Facility Visit

Angeles City Mayor-Elect Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on June 1, 2019 visited the Angeles City Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Barangay Pampang to have a brief meeting with Engr. Donato Dizon regarding the current state of solid waste management in the city. The issue of solid waste management is included in Lazatin’s Six-Point Agenda, which he presented on the campaign trail. Among Lazatin’s plans is the promotion of waste segregation at source, the strict implementation of the ordinance banning the use of plastic bags and Styrofoam in the city, and the establishment of the city’s own sanitary landfill.
