CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – To address, contain and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) and its ill-effects and impact on the people, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved on March 16 Resolution No. 6102 declaring the province of Pampanga under state of calamity.
With the approval, Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ G. Pineda is now authorized to utilize and disburse such amount from the Quick Response Fund of the province primarily for the aid, medicine, relief, rehabilitation, reconstruction and other works or services to calamity affected communities/areas of Pampanga.
The Sanggunian led by Vice Governor Lilia ‘Nanay” G. Pineda finds it urgent to immediately act favorably on Resolution No. 4, series of 2020 of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) led by Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ G. Pineda recommending the declaration of province-wide state of calamity.
The Department of Health recorded one confirmed dead out of three confirmed persons who have been infected by COVID 19.
