CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA was given recognition for his Responsive programs on peace and order relative to productivity and resiliency that mitigated the effect of COVID-19 in Central Luzon during the celebration of the 119th Police Service Anniversary at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The top cop of Central Luzon was among those who received the Special Individual Awards for Covid-19 Pandemic in said event which was simultaneously celebrated at the PNP-National Headquarters and in all Police Regional Offices nationwide via Zoom video application.
Anchored on the theme: “Towards a Pandemic-Resilient PNP: Adopting Protective Protocols in the New Normal," the celebration and awarding ceremony was highlighted by the presence of President Rodrigo Duterte who was also the guest of honor and speaker.
“This recognition is not only for me but for the men and women of PRO3 who have been working tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of fighting criminality in the region as well as containing the widespread of COVID-19 while at the same time alleviating the lives of our fellowmen in Central Luzon by providing them food this pandemic,” PBGEN SERMONIA also said.
