PDEA nabs big-time drug peddler, seizes 3.4M worth of shabu

ANGELES CITY - A big-time drug pusher was arrested by the combined elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA-3) - Pampanga and Tarlac Provincial Offices, PDEA CALABARZON, and PDEA Region 1 in a drug sting which led to the confiscation of Php 3,400,000.00 worth of methampethamine hydrocloride along Mc Arthur Highway, Brgy. Balibago of this city, late Wednesday evening of December 2, 2020.

Director Christian O Frivaldo identidied the suspect as Jayson Crisostomo y Jiongco, 27y/o, resident of Navotas City.

In an initial report submitted to PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva, Frivaldo disclosed that Crisostomo is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Angeles City, Mabalacat City and nearby towns in Pampanga and Tarlac.

The sting yieldedo one (1) pc resealable transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected as "shabu" weighing more or less 500 grams (with DDB value of 3.4 million), one (1) unit samsung cellphone, one (1) pc genuine One Thousand Peso bill with serial number JW562613 used as buy bust money and five (5) bundles of boodle money.

Violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Art II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect.
