On the other hand, to further the knowledge and skills of PNP personnel acting as front liners in the quarantine areas, a seminar was conducted by the Regional Health Service 3 in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), earlier this morning (March 18).
Said seminar aimed to equip participants with the right knowledge on what is COVID-19 as well as its signs and symptoms and preventive measures to stop the spread of said virus. Part of the seminar was a lecture and demonstration of the proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) being used by health workers and front liners while responding to cases of COVID-19. PBGEN SERMONIA also said that Central Luzon cops have yet to come across any person with flu-like symptoms in the conduct of quarantine checkpoints, still, arrests can be made when there are justifiable grounds like if those being prevented from entering and exiting borders go as far as harming officers of the law while being inspected.
