Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL SERMONIA with OWWA Deputy Administrator Margaux "Mocha" Uson came to the rescue of some 100 stranded OFWs who arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and were ferried by bus to Dau terminal in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The OFWs who worked in various countries abroad were all heading home in the different provinces of Northern Luzon.
PBGEN SERMONIA and Deputy Administrator Uson saw to it that the OFWs arrived safely at Dau bus terminal were they would be fetched by their families and relatives who were also contacted by PRO3 and OWWA.
Transportation services to those who would not be fetched by their families at the bus terminal were also provided by PRO3 and OWWA.
The assistance given to the OFWs is part of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) desk program of PRO3 which caters to the welfare of the OFWs as well as their families and relatives.
"Thru our OFW desk in collaboration with OWWA, outright assistance to our OFWs are being provided," PBGEN SERMONIA said.
PBGEN SERMONIA also distributed face masks and sanitizers to said OFWs.
