PRO3 Cares: Relief items sent to both affected families of police personnel and PNP personnel deploy



Camp Olivas, City of San Fermando, Pampanga- Doing their fair share to help the victims of Taal volcano eruption, members of Police Regional Office 3 took time to personally bring the relief items to the families of Batangas police personnel who are also victims of the on- going Taal eruption, early morning last Saturday.



Police Regional Office 3 Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA spearheaded the activity at Batangas Police Provincial Office in Batangas City wherein Php 2.5 Million worth of relief items consist of sacks of rice, toilettries,bottled water and canned goods are to be distributed to affected families of PNP personnel and those who are being utilized for disaster and relief operations in Batangas and Cavite.





PBGEN SERMONIA said that PRO3 in collaboration with the Association of Chiefs of Police in the Philippines came up with this initiative dubbed as "Lingap para sa kapwa Pulis na biktima ng Bulkang Taal" which aims to send a message that the police force recognizes the sacrifices and commitment of their fellow law enforcers to serve and protect the public while their families and loved ones are somehow being set aside to fulfill their mandated tasks.



" We want them to feel that they are important and that as their comrades, we care and also provide our relentless outstanding service for them," PBGEN SERMONIA added.



Meanwhile, the relief items were personally accepted by PRO4A Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE DANAO JR and Batangas PPO Provincial Director PCOL EDWIN QUILATES. Both PBGEN SERMONIA and PBGEN DANAO JR hold important positions in ACCPI wherein the former is the National president while the latter is one of the Board members.
