Top Cop Launches "Adopt a Family" Program to Deter Looting, Burglaries

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Apart from the anti-criminality efforts of authorities, the Central Luzon top cop is also sending a strong message to the entire Region 3 community, that indeed, their officers in blue, are part of their families.

PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA launched earlier yesterday, PRO3's newest initiative, the Adopt-A-Family Program wherein PRO3 personnel would adopt at least one family who are most in need and supply them with their basic food commodities during this Enhanced Community Quarantine period.

PBGEN SERMONIA also said that the Adopt-A- Family program is not only about giving families their basic necessities but also providing them with support and hope especially these trying times.

"The entire Central Luzon is our family. Your police, we are part of this family, all part of the community. Thru this program, we sort of letting them know, they are part of our family and family takes care of each other,” PBGEN SERMONIA added.

The Region 3 police chief also encourages well-to-do families to participate in this program which is also a good way to prevent incidents of looting and burglary because of the "no work, no pay" situation and constraint public movement.
