ANGELES CITY – Two drug personalities were arrested by joint operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA RO III) and Angeles City Police Office Station 2 (ACPO Station2) which resulted in the seizure of Php 780, 000.00 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in a drug sting at #40 Purok 1, Barangay Pampang of this city on February 06, 2020.
In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino, PDEA3 Director Lyndon P Aspacio identified the suspects as Roberto P. Pangilinan Jr., 32, male and Robinito P. Pangilinan, 42, male, both resident of Barangay Pampang, Angeles City.
According to the PDEA City Officer of Angeles City, the two suspects were known to be a bulk seller of shabu in the locality.
“Our operatives were able to secure a drug deal from the suspects for the amount of Php 1,000.00 worth of shabu and agreed to meet in Purok 1 where they were collared by the joint anti-narcotic operatives”, said Aspacio.
Seized from the suspects are 115 grams of shabu, various drug paraphernalia and the marked money used in the operation.
The pieces of evidence will be turned-over to PDEA3 Laboratory for quantitative and qualitative examinations
The suspects are now detained in PDEA Jail facility, in Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs), and section 12 (possession of drug paraphernalia), Article II of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against the suspects.
